What is fasting/detox?

Fasting, detox or cleansing means reducing the load on the body, for example by leaving out all solid food and consuming only liquid food for a while. Fasting is an ancient healing tool for humans and animals. For example, when a wild animal gets sick or injured, it instinctively fasts, allowing the energy of the body to focus on healing. Fasting can be done in different ways and for different lengths of time. Usually during the fast, the intestines, brain, liver and the whole body can rest and is cleansed of old waste, toxins and heavy metals that may be causing health problems. When you give your body the right conditions, it heals itself. Even chronic diseases can be cured when the body is given the right kind of rest, and then nourished with the right kind of food. Don't fast to lose weight, but to get healthy!

A fruit detox is a cleansing protocol that lasts one or more days, during which you eat nothing but fruits and leafy greens in their various forms. During this time, there is enough energy for work, exercise and everyday chores.

A smoothie detox is a cleansing protocol that lasts one or more days, during which you eat nothing but smoothies. The smoothies can contain fruits, leafy greens, vegetables, sprouts, seeds and nuts. There will be enough energy for work, exercise and everyday chores.

A juice fast is a fasting protocol that lasts one or more days, during which no solid food is eaten. It can include cold-pressed fruit juices, green juices and vegetable juices, water, coconut water, vegetable broths and herbal infusions. There will be enough energy for work, exercise and everyday chores if needed, but it would be ideal to rest. A coach is recommended when thinking of starting a long juice fast.

A water fast is a fasting protocol that lasts one or more days, during which you do not eat or drink anything but water. There will not be enough energy for work, exercise and everyday chores, so if you want to water fast longer than a day, it must be done off work. Water fasting is not recommended without previous experience and the guidance of a professional.

A dry fast is a fast that lasts one or more days, during which you do not eat or drink anything. There will not be enough energy for work, exercise or everyday chores, and you have to rest and let your body focus on healing. Dry fasting is not recommended without previous experience with fasting and clinical conditions and professional help.

Fasting is especially useful if you suffer from illnesses or symptoms such as stomach or intestinal problems, skin issues, fatigue, mood swings, irritability, bad memory, depression, blood sugar problems, or heart diseases. In fasting/detox coaching, we start with small steps, so no previous experience is needed. If done incorrectly, fasting can even be dangerous, so it is important to have the help of an experienced coach. We offer different types and lengths of easily accessible online fasting/detox coaching protocols, customized according to different health conditions and life situations. We take in consideration your preferences, allergies, activities and different daily routines and habits. What does fasting/detox coaching include?

All fasting and detox coaching packs are individual protocols with two coaches. Your coaches will be me - Lilla - and my partner Kelsang, who has particularly heavy experience and expertise related to fasting. Together we offer professional, reliable and comprehensive online coaching. All detox coaching packs include an interview, familiarization, goal setting and talking via messages or video calls, personalized fasting plans, shopping lists, recipes, nutrient information and everything needed as files into your email. We also offer help, advice, tips, fasting knowledge and daily contact for the entire time of the coaching.
